Although we take pride in providing instruction using volunteers from within our organization, sometimes we must bring in tutors possessing a greater expertise to help us develop. We hope one day St. Andrew's Legion can become a full-time academy for fine arts, focusing on Celtic music studies.

But bringing in new, young pipers and drummers is just one of our financial needs. There is always the need to upgrade uniforms and equipment and equip new members. Currently we help provide these for members who cannot afford them. The average kilt and uniform costs at least $1500, and a good set of pipes ranges upwards towards $1700.

The demand for our presence and public demonstrations is growing heavy, but it is an expensive proposition to keep this piece of culture and the arts alive. We are a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization with a federal Tax ID number of 32-0151624, so your contributions are tax deductible. We are at the threshold of achieving higher goals, but only with your kind and generous financial support. Then again, maybe you can support our heritage by answering that call to the blood, and become a Piper or Drummer, yourself.
